So in your opinion - what kind of people do you think eat sushi? Or rather, who prefers meat to raw fish - democrats or republicans? I would believe it did differ a bit - so I was glad to find that the guys over at the headquarter of Urbanspoons also wondered about this, and set out to find if there were in fact correlation between choice of favorite food and political opinion - or trying to calculate the Steak/Sushi Index (SSI)! Cameron Diaz LOVES sushi. Here she is served some weird green version of it on some Japanese tv-show. It is made looking like the character Shrek. No real reason to bother with the rest of the film.

It looks like a waste of good sushi really, but I have to say that he is an impressively fast eater! This is a clip from ‘Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi’ cartoon showing hot dog eating champion Takeru Kobayashi practically drinking sushi… Do a search on YouTube on this guy and you will see he has done an enormous amount of eating…

I have not made much sashimi at home I have to admit. Cutting the fish for it is still a bit scary to me, but this video helped make it look easy. Easier… I have also previously posted another video covering sashimi - how to make sashimi from salmon, yellow tail and tuna.
Sushi is good. Sushi is great! Now they are also super heroes. The cartoon series “Sushi Pack” from American Greetings Properties is going to be shown on the American TV-channel CBS targeting the audience between 9-11 year olds. And me. Is this a big sushi conspiracy? To prep your kids as the future sushi eaters?

Japo Sushi looks like a tiny place from the outside. But it has some style. I actually was surprised by how much bigger it felt when we came inside, using four gigantic mirrors on each side giving the room an imaginary depth and space.
We got lucky and came in front of a huge line of take away orders. I guess friday nights are busy, which our next table guests got to feel in particular. They got their food, but never their drinks, so they ended up leaving before even touching their sushi. Quite upset it seemed like. Hmm.
