I have a new hero. His name is William McDonough and he is an architect and designer. He thinks AND ACTS (!) like I wish all people did, including myself - because we all do and create things that impact others. He always starts designing by asking how our buildings and products can take into account “all children, all species, for all time.”
This is maybe a bit on the side of sushi, but what he talks about would help on the pollution of the ocean, the mercury toxification of fish and the approach of abundance. He is maybe the formost spokesperson for absolute sustainability, and in this video he explains his philosophy of “cradle to cradle” design, which bridge the needs of ecology and economics. He also shares some of his most inspiring work, including the world’s largest green roof (at the Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan), and the entire sustainable cities he’s designing in China.

Wow… that is so true!
I believe we as a species should be more aware of our behaviour and how we affect our surrounding
Very inspiring!
I also loved the video on how to make sushi… I will try that and let you know how it went
Thanks for sharing

I so admire people that not just talk but DO as well! This guy has several great speeches like this. If you liked this one - here is an older and longer presentation.
