A’Float Sushi is a guru guru sushi place in one of my favorite places in LA, Old Pasadena. We walked by here for lunch, and it was packed. I can understand why. The food is cheap and quite good, and it is a lot of fun!

This is not a regular guru guru sushi place. Here food is brought to you by boat! The dishes are prepared on plates and then put on beautiful little boats. You help yourself with the ones that look interesting and yummy. With so many people in the bar, you never feel like that the fish gets old.

Like other this kind of sushi place, you pay per serving plate you have. I did not try very many, but both the vegetables and the fish tasted quite good. The good thing is that you get smaller amounts of each dish, so you can more easily go “shopping” for new and interesting tastes without getting too full and/or ruining yourself economically.

Summary:

I like this place. This is more of a great alternative to a fast food place I guess, but well worth a visit! The food just above average, but the guru guru sushi with boats is so much fun! I love sitting and watching great and beautifully made food float by!
