This place is very near my work and I have been there a couple of times now. The small restaurant is located near London Bridge in the heart of Borough Market – one of the upscale food markets in the city. There are actually a number of Feng Sushi restaurants in London – check their website for more information.
Feng Sushi have quite a lot on their menu and sometimes some additional seasonal specials. It’s a nice place to go for lunch as they are fairly quick in preparing your order and not overly expensive. I don’t actually think they make to order but pre-prepare in the kitchen (they are very quick sometimes
but the quality is decent and the price is right.
I normally share the 22 piece sushi box containing tuna, salmon, prawn, mackerel, and squid Nigri (two of each) and cucumber and tuna Maki (six of each). It’s perfect to share between two with no arguments over who gets what as everything divides nicely.
Summary:
I wouldn’t go there for a romantic dinner for two – you won’t get your own table but sit on long and high tables together with the other guests – but it is always good for a quick bite. They also do takeaway and free local delivery.
