Frogner Sushi Bar just happened to be there when we needed lunch one Sunday afternoon. And it was that kind of place. Nothing special, but ok sushi to go.

Not quite sure if I would like to have their sashimi menus, because their fish looked quite sad and unappetizing actually. Again - this was on a sunday, so they might look and smell better on a “fresh fish day”…

The rice was a bit too sweet and their technique for rolling the makis almost gave the sushi a bit of a machine made consistency - too mushed. The presentation was an a flower attempt. They have several menu options, and their prices are appropriately cheap with menus from NOK 79,- for a 7 pieces to NOK 198,- for 20 pieces. I do think this meal was a little better than a lot of these take away places, but all in all quite average.

Summary:

Sad looking fish, but ok take away food alternative.
