We have two reasons to celebrate today! The first being it is the birthday of Allison’s website “Sushi Day“!! It is officially one year old! Many congrats from Sushi or Death. Hurray, hurray! She is launching her first t-shirt for sale as well, featuring the adorable blowfish above, so take a trip over and check it out.

But apparently is also “National Sushi Day” - which nation we are talking about, I am not sure. According to a comment made by Ralph on SushiDay, November 1 “marks the first day of the season where the new rice crop arrives, the fish are plump, the air is clear, and the sky is high, to prepare for the hungry season.”

So great reasons to go have sushi tonight, guys! Despite it being thursday.
