Great job, Pål, and thank you for your review! :) Here's mine. I finally got to go to Jonoes yesterday and it was a real treat! Finally meeting chefs who actually care about that they serve proper sushi were so relieving because it is so rare in this town. We briefly got to say hi to Jonathan, one of the sushi chefs, who just let it be up to him what we were having. Yess! Wonderful! Their salmon and halibut sashimi in ponzu sauce just melted in your mouth. We all got a set of nigiri sushi, marinated scampi salad and seared tuna. All of which were both beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Their avocado decorated maki - ahh, I am such a sucker for shrimp tempura maki... I agree with Pål in that this is one of the best sushi places in town. I will definitely go back! Often! Alex Sushi, Nodee, Jonoes... My new top three list in Oslo! I agree with Pål in that this is one of the best sushi places in town. I will definitely go back! Often! Alex Sushi, Nodee, Jonoes… My new top three list in Oslo!
