
Another way of making sushi without having to really make sushi… Sushi@Home is said to help you make sushi either using their “nigiri rice press” to make the perfect nigiri rice block, or with the “Maki Rice Roller” to create the maki of your dreams…
Professional sushi chefs make nigiri sushi by hand and make it look very easy. This is suppose to make you an expert. You fill the chamber with rice and compress, slide the mould forward and eject the nigiri blocks on to the presentation tray. Repeat until chamber is empty. With the Maki Rice Roller the home chef can create beautiful Futomaki and Hosomaki with ease. You place rice on either the large or small forming plate to the level of the frame. Place your fillings opposite the guides, remove the rice frame and pull the handles together to create the maki roll.
