From time to time I get the chance to live in Warsaw and every time I’m there, I visit a sushi restaurant called “Ryżowe Pole”. Translated into English it simply means..A Rice Field.
The sushi is very good, fresh and just a bit less expensive than sushi in Norway and yet it is the cheapest place in Warsaw. It does not come with fancy decorations, so do not expect any of that fake grass I get in a sushi place in Brooklyn. I also strongly recommend the Jasmine tea.
The decor is traditional Japanese, very simple and peaceful. The service is outstanding though. Lots of smiles, please and thank you’s to brighten up the place.
When you’re on Zgoda street, keep your eyes open, as the place is a bit hidden. It is located between two buildings and the entrance to the restaurant is in the space between them.
