Wasabi green peas - addicitive!I have to say - beware of the wasabi peas, or they will take over your life…. (add scary movie voice to statement and you will realize it is true. Really!)

Well, I have had this addiction for several weeks now, and it does not seem to go away. The green little ones are a necessity to have at least one full box of at all times. And since I go through them as fast as I do, I always need to get several. Boxes… Luckily I have found them in my next door market, so my wasabi fix is near.

Wasabi Peas are the ultimate snack with a real kick. When I offer them to my friends, they usually start out being very skeptical, accepting maybe one, but once they get started - they are hooked too. With a cold beer in one hand and wasabi peas in the other, you are ready for movie night. It must be more healthy than other snacks. I want to believe that.

Well, it is good to know that I am not alone.

If you dont have any near your home - you can get them here >>

Have you had any?

Have just discovered these through my Japanese boss in London.
Is there any hope? Any cure?

    Help!

  2. can’t imagine any peas as being addictive… what is the special ingredient they use to make em taste sooooo…. good?

  3. I know. Isn’t it weird? I did not think peas would ever get me addicted either… but they are really good! It is quite a harmless addiction though - I think.

Btw. Not all of them are good, though. I have over the past couple of months done a “wasabi pea review” that I will post here soon (just missing a picture of my favorite ones), so I have had A LOT of peas. Some of them have been quite awful. And it has actually to a certain degree cured my addiction too. It’s like with the kids - give them as much candy as they want, and it is not what they want anymore…

Thanks for your comment though. :)

    Please help anyone.

  6. @sandra - Wow. I hope it was not the wasabi peas that made you ill. What in them that are addictive I don’t really know, but maybe someone else her knows? My addiction is not as bad as yours, but I still eat a lot if I get a hold of a can… Hope you get well soon!

my friend also became addicted, was found to be bleeding internally….had less than half of required blood supply. the irritation through her digestive tract was also severe and caused tremendous bloating, etc. this addiction is nothing to rave about. it is very serious!
