I love playing the Wii! The EA Games MySims™ almost just arrived in Norway, so I have not yet tried it out. To celebrate the launch of MySims, EA Games commissioned four hot UK fashion designers to create a dual-purpose capsule collection.
The designs were to reflect the core values of the game MySims™ - self expression, customisation, creativity and collectability - when they created a dual-purpose capsule collection. Tatty Divine designed the My Sims Sushi Bag - designed to perfectly carry your Wiimote on the go, Tatty Divine’s exclusive bag takes design inspiration from MySim’s sushi chef, and features hundreds of glittering Swarovski crystals. The asking price will be £150…
In addition to Tatty with the sushi bag, Giles Deacon designed a MySims-inspired talisman to hang from your bag or Wii remote. The asking price for that is £35. Cassette Playa designed vinyl and foil sticker sets with shapes inspired by the facial features of the characters in MySims, used to customise your DS or whatever else you’d like for £15. House Of Holland designed a t-shirt featuring a pocket on the front, big enough to carry around your DS for £40.
To be honest, I would not have wanted any of these despite being fond of the Wii. They are a limited edition collection and are available exclusively online from Monday 8th October on the official Sims website. The one - and only ? - good thing to say about them are that all proceeds go to charity.
