Most people that did not grow up in Japan have some initial getting used to eating sushi. It is an acquired taste. A dangerous one. Danger in a good sense that is. So many of my friends and people I read about have talked about how they just suddenly not only start liking it, but can’t stop thinking about it.
That is how it was with me. I even lived in Tokyo for some time some years ago, but when I was there I hadn’t had this “revelation” yet. It came years later. Now I can’t stop thinking about all the fantastic sushi, sashimi and wonderful maki that I missed out on… Sigh. Well, it just means that I will have to go back to Japan I guess. Over and over.
But – for now, I have to find good sushi wherever I am. That’s why I wanted to make a sushi website. With reviews, adresses, links to stuff, restaurants, recipes, equipment, goods etc. For I know there are several people like me. So – here is the deal. I will tell you where I think you get good sushi in Oslo, Norway in addition to all the other places I go, and I would like for you to tell me where we all can get our sushi fix around where you live.
